FOCUS is an organization that aims to provide undergraduate students interested in the field of optometry with resources, information, and a community to help foster their aspirations and career goals.

Our Story
Although FOCUS was founded nearly 10 years ago in 2012, our ultimate vision has since remained the same: assist students in their journey towards becoming an optometrist.

As a group of undergraduate students, we work together to tackle the steps in becoming an optometrist, whether it be via helping each other prepare for the OAT (Optometry Admissions Test), study for classes, or apply to optometry schools. Our bi-weekly meetings allow our members to connect with each other, as well as with optometrists and recruiters around the world.
